Cosmetology

Course Description--This in-depth course focuses on theory and practical skill applications in the areas of hair, nail and esthetic care, chemistry, anatomy and physiology, business, communication and state laws, rules and regulations. Upon completion of the course and completion of the required number of hours mandated by the Maryland State Board of Cosmetology, students will take a written and practical examination to become licensed to administer professional services to the public. Students participate in salon rotations and working on clients in the school salon.
