SHOP meets about every two weeks as needed. To become a member of SHOP a student must apply. Students are selected by teacher recommendations. SHOP members must meet specific criteria which include being in good academic standing, possessing leadership skills and being committed to living a drug, tobacco and alcohol free life. A SHOP member is a peer leader who is expected to maintain high standards while educating and serving the school and community. SHOP members also participate in a 3 day training session and participate in a lot of fun activities.
